1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases on mein-deutschkurs.com: action points, subscriptions and gift vouchers. The provider is Johannes Hinterberger, Paumannstraße 11, 5020 Salzburg, Austria (see Legal notice).
2. User account
You need a user account to make a purchase. Pseudonyms are allowed in usernames.
3. Billing details
The details for the invoice must be correct: your real name and your real address, and for companies the company name and, where required, the VAT ID. The invoice is issued with these details.
4. Countries
We do not sell to all countries. The country of your billing address is what counts. You can find the list of countries under Payment & countries.
5. Prices and taxes
All prices are final prices in euros, including all taxes and fees where applicable.
6. Payment
You pay with PayPal or by bank transfer. Subscriptions cannot be paid from a bank account. The purchase is complete as soon as we have received the payment. You then receive the invoice.
7. Action points
You use action points for paid offers on the platform. Purchased action points are valid for 12 months from the date they are credited. After that they expire. You receive a reminder beforehand. You can transfer purchased action points to other users. Action points are not paid out in cash. If you close your user account, all action points in it expire without a refund. You confirm this waiver explicitly when closing the account.
8. Subscriptions
A subscription runs monthly or yearly. With every payment, the action points of your tier are credited to you. You can cancel the subscription at any time. It then ends with the paid period. For a yearly subscription, we remind you 14 days before the renewal.
9. Gift vouchers
A gift voucher has a value in euros. When it is redeemed, the value is converted into action points. Vouchers are not paid out in cash. If discounts are available above a certain total value, you will see this when ordering. The discount is then shown on the invoice next to the item concerned. Discounts are not shown on vouchers.
10. No right of withdrawal
Our services begin immediately after the purchase. When purchasing, you expressly confirm that the service begins immediately and that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal.
11. Chargebacks and goodwill
Purchased action points are not refunded. Refunds are made only as a goodwill gesture. For discounted vouchers, the price paid counts.
It is agreed that if you wish to withdraw, you will get in touch so that we can find a solution. If a chargeback happens automatically (e.g. through PayPal), the contract is automatically considered terminated and the user account is blocked.
12. Governing law
Austrian law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
